Splitting Live Dj Sets

I did a search and came up with nothing. And, I am not 100% sure TA supports this kind of activity. In all do respect, my intentions here are not bad. I have a few live Djs sets that I would like to take off my computer and transfer to CD; so, I can listen to them during my long car ride to and from campus as well as to and from Chicago. If this thread is inappropriate for TA, I apologize and understand if it gets trashed or deleted.
Is there a program available, free or to purchase, that allows Mp3 Dj sets to be split or cut in length to fit a regular CDR?
If anyone has information or ideas, I'd like to hear them. |

You can't choose to split the files by length, but by file size. However, if you have any basic concept of math, you can make according cuts based on the file size. |

Soundforge.
I also have a program called CD Wave. It's a wave editor that allows you to place track marks easily and precisely. You will have to convert your mp3 to wav first, but that's easy too. |

exactly! .. i have that one too ..that prog is the shiznit ... well i have the one that is ONLY compatible with a FAT32 system(98/me) .. it does not work in a NTFS system (win2000/xp) .. if it wasn't for the cd wav editor program, then i would have 2000 and xp, but i currently have me loaded in one partition just for wav editing .. that's about it .. |
