Yes, Washington DC. Good to know what the Hubs are for the airlines flying to Amsterdam. For example, if United has a Hub in DC, then the flights will generally be cheeper.

Well, that would be cheaper for Destynee, who is out of D.C., but what about us SoFloridians? I took Martinair out of Miami and it was a non-stop flight, which is the way I plan on going again. Layovers, transfers and any of that crap can go down the toilet along with certain other things. :thepirate

It's just one of those last minute Deals that United has. But it means that it can happen again. Anyone in the Tri-State area thinking of going should look into this.

DA, Don't think we have any hubs that go to Amsterdam so it may not be worth the layovers, etc. to save money. The price (if it reamins) is not bad.

Dude, I think $265 is AWESOME out of D.C. What's a layover, anyway, is it the same thing as a transfer in another city or what? Like I stated before, I am so not down with connecting flights, transfers, whatever. I'll shell out the extra cash for non-stop, it's much more worth it IMO. The flight is long, but best to get it done in one flight then changing planes in other cities.

What do ya say, dude?

(OMG I miss Amsterdam more than ever.) :(

With the proper medication & an MP3 Player with extra batteries, it won't matter how long the flight is :)

direct flight i feel are a mich better than connecting flights. one long flight is better than taking 2. to many possibilities of flight delays & confusion.

direct flight all the way.
