hey cmon now, i never actually said GC sucked, you just inferred it...YOu were the one being all sarcastic about the diff colored ps2s. ill prolly get a GC eventually, i have nothing but love for nintendo, but it wont be pink or purple! and the whole jar jar binks thing isnt very threatening either....
on the topic of the sparco racing seats for GT3, my friend had a similar idea involving a leather lazyboy, subs mounted underneath, the force feedback steering wheel, flatscreen TV, surround sound, i-link, plus a big bag of weed...*(times)n
n= # of friends in your crew. sounds great, but expensive...;)

How come none of you mentioned MGS2?!
That game is going to be groundbreaking. I looks stunning!
PS2 also got FFX, FFXI, GT3, GTA3 and more, so I will probably keep it until I see which of the two new that will get the best games. I'm one of those that thinks X-Box can be a hit if microsoft avoids the tempation of releasing all of its games on pc. With an exclusive game like Halo and hopefully more it can be a great to consol to own:)

i could've gotten that yesterday but i wanted GTA 3 more, even though it was sold out everywhere :0. Eithere GTA3,MGS2 or resident evil |

Going to be? Already is, I bought it the day it came out. Good game but I'm kinda disappointed at what's happened so far. I'm not going to spoil it for you, but for those that have played it u probably know what I'm talking about. Half-Life just released for PS2 last week also with improved graphics and a really fun 2 player mode. I gave it a rent today and it's not too bad, I think I'll add it to my Christmas list. The next game I really can't wait for though is FFX, first week of January...not too far away :eyes: |

Nintendo's been in the busines for a looooooong time, microsoft has just entered, plus i heard the x-box has loads of bugs.
We'll see.. i'll go check both out and see which one i like better.... i'm tired of my old ps-one! |

yeah i finished mgs 2 a few days ago. it's frigging brilliant. :) there's gotta be a mgs 3. play it. you'll know why. heheh.
as for xbox or gamecube, i'd grab an xbox. seems like nintendo still hasn't learned to make games that appeal to the older audience a bit more. luigi's mansion....wtf is that! the only game so far that i'm likin' is DOA 3. which looks sick! but still, xbox is like a pumped up ps2. though i think gta 3 beats the out of gotham-wahtever-racing-game it's called for xbox. |

Remove Starfox, Sonic Adventure and Zelda from the list...then u have more adult like games. As much as I like those games they're no where as adult oriented as things like Resident Evil. Btw, I think Sonic is VERY kiddish now...I was really disappointed with Sonic Adventure 2, good gameplay but VERY childish.
O yeah, welcome back Lynx...came into the chill out room and it looked like it did awhile ago...your posts everywhere :stongue: Good to see that the TA post-machine is back ;) You still average 21 posts a day LoL. |

tru say...i stand corrected. gamecube is a formidable machine. and don't get me wrong, i love nintendo. i'll never give up my 8-bit antique of a system for anything. :D it rox. i'm glad to see gamecube has a lot more titles coming out that aren't solely made my nintendo or doesn't involve just the nintendo characters. hehehe. that's what i hated with n64. xbox sports a lot of features tho...i dunno. hard to say at this point. i'm still going for xbox at this point. :)
