Same saying goes for tattoo's as it does with anything else.. You get what you pay for.. I recomend going to one of the top artist in the country talk over a design with him/her. then make a appointment a few months in advance. That was you have time to think about your design and if you really want it. Remember it cost a lot more to remove and it hurts a heck of a lot more.
Here is the artist I use and with in the next 5 years it will start doing the rest of my back legs arms etc...

| tru tru i am really debating wether i should get color or black, it not a big tattoo but do colors fade in the long run (i kno you can always go back and get the color done) but for the cream logo like the one in my avatar, what would look better???? |

I have 2....
1. I have the cream logo tatoed on my lower back too...got it last summer...
2. my second tatoo is a lil blue dolphin...got this like 3 yrs now..
thinkin bout a third one but dunno what I want yet:) |

I did it black cuz I thought it matched best with my skin...dunno tho..
the one in ur avatar is really nice too;) |

| only tattoo i would ever consider is my chinese name, and probably in a nondescript place, like my upper ankle or something. that way if i'm ever found dead with no id, they could figure out who the i am. :wtf: |

i got about 40,,,including ''made in england'' and the english coat of arms on my head.....some slags names that ive regretted...the name of the worst soccer team in the world (((but i love 'em))...my army number and regiment...an ugly slant eyed bird....a ing ship a couple of skulls and an eagle...a devil a swallow and a punk....some bulldogs and lion and lots of ....some sammurai warrior mother****** and more birds and an indian mohawk mother******....and my wife and both my daughters names......and more ..... |

i dont know much about tats but if you got it like the color in your avy (yellow, orange, etc) they would fade right? |

if you're looking to go around the city or nj, u might wanna consider going to staten island. dave of ron and dave's in staten island is without a doubt some of the best work i've seen done in the ny/nj area, and i researched places for about a year and 1/2 before i finally chose this place to get it done.
as far as ur questions about color, all color will eventually fade with time, but how much it will fade and how fast it will fade depends completely on how well the tatoo was done. also remember u can always get color touched up. i personally prefer color to black, but it really depends on your skin tone, sometimes one just looks better than the other depending on the color of your skin. if ur very pale, i would say with just black and shading as opposed to a light color like yellow or orange. |

| It all depends on how well you take care of them....sunscreen in the summertime is key to not having them fade, when the tat is healing use the right cream, and if it is a good place they should do color touch-ups during your lifetime at no extra cost....the one I have on my upper back is all color and I got it 4 years ago and nothing has faded |
