A. Groupie Love
B1. Plasticacid
B2. Jack The House
Acid legends Hardfloor have been releasing some stuff on their own label, and this is the latest. A-Side "Groupie Love" features a lot of female sexy moaning (orgasming?), over the usual Hardfloor formula which is the 303 and some very well sequenced basic percs. The usual, but spiced up. On the flip "Plasticacid" features a strong 303 bassline which dominates the track. "Jack The House" goes just a little bit deeper but in my opinion doesn't suceed very well and ends up being forgettable. I'm not sure if calling it "minimal" is very appropriated but it doesn't feature loads of layers.
Not amazing neither particularly innovative, but still quite fun and solid overall. |

| That sleeve is brilliant. Bravo. The tracks I'm not overly impressed with, sounds too much like the old Hardfloor-formula we've been hearing for years now. |

| Oliver Bondzio is cool. Met him last week at important records (my local record-shop). Like the trax on the b-side more, especially the Jack track, but I think 'Groupie Love' will be the reason why this EP will sell well. |
