and

www.infonec.com

they are usually cheaper than CC, in my experiences. Although CC does have better deals sometimes. but for consistancy, go with the two above.

Canada Computers and Logic Computer House have the best price Stock and selection.
But service and attitude sucks plus they will rarely take any products back on warranty.

I have bought several motherboards and had to send them back directly to ASUS in California and wait 6-8 week to have them repaired. Plus I had to pay the shipping 1 way. To make a long story short, I could have bought the boards from another supplier who honors the warranty here in Canada for 20$ more and if anything goes wrong they replace it within 48 hours.

Something to keep in mind when buying major components like CPU'S, MB's or Graphics units. Cheapest is not always the best!

me love u long time!!!

Your answer is yes...you got it right
2 x 512 = 1 gig

However Kingston valueRam is the bottom of the line...the possibility of failure is there. And I'm afraid with Canada Computers rep....you'd have to live with cutting your losses. If your ok with that, then go for the deal. Otherwise, I'd spend the extra $$ and pick OCZ at another dealer.

Now if only someone could have warned me about the Intel ICH5R chip on the Asus P4P800-E Deluxe Mb, they could have saved me a lot of aggravation.
For all of you guys who are into building your own pc's here's the werd.....the chip fries your mb...so the moment you start to smell it burning (and it has actually been known to catch on fire) turn the dahem thing off pronto...b4 it burns the rest of your parts.
Fack....now I gotta wait to replace it.

, this explains why I have had to send 3 ASUS boards with that chip on it back to ASUS so far. If you read my previous post in this thread!

i just had a Western Digital Hard drive fail on me, i brought it back 1.5 years after having bought it at Logic, and they sent it back FOR ME, and gave me a call when a new one was in. They said because i was a good customer they did it for me, but usually they only send stuff back within the first year.

What you pay is what you get! That's the way I view a lot of things for.

Here's what you don't know...HD are warrantied by the manufacturer for 3 years. Some will go as far as 5. What the stores do is that they don't pass this on to the customers. "Buyer Beware".
If they said no to you...you could have found the manufacturer's location here in ontario and sent it in by xpresspost (keep your costs down) and they would have replaced it no questions asked.

That's why we prefer to build our own computers...thank you very much!
