The leader of the Roman Catholic faith is about to have his funeral and you are making jokes and smart-ass comments about the whole thing.
This isn't a respect contest in any way - but it would be very courteous if people could show a little (respect) and refrain from immature comments (which includes brushing off the importance of what is happening). |

ill tell u wut the Pope did tho. he supported the independence of croatia and slovenia from former yugoslavia (cuz they were catholic provinces). thats wen our country started falling apart. then came 2 wars (thank u americans!). and now look where we are.

May of people ARE saddened by John Paul II’s passing. Maybe you feel it's nice to joke around about sensitive issues and about what some of your peers may be sad about. Wake up - it's not.
Everybody grieves in different ways - fine, but be respectful and grown-up enough to realize such and be respectful. |
