| yeah, dude... when he matched up against colossus like i actually felt bad for him, colossus is just staring him down and then this guy just MOPS up. my roomate and i loved the 2nd fight, so many good blows in such a short time. great vids. |

I hate that stare colossus does more than anything on earth. I was really hoping he didnt win because every fight ive been in where the kid did that they were just twitchy s trying to be intimidating instead of kicking your ass out of no where...

I love the Emelianenko brothers casual demeanor in the ring, but the Thompson fight was just plain hilarious. The guy is standing there looking like he's about to have a seizure and Alex looks bored like he's standing in line at the grocery store.
Morais (the second guy) handn't fought in years and really had no chance. They seem to just like booking Alex against big guys with marginal skills, and it usually ends up like that.
The same night as the second fight, Alex's brother Fedor gave a brutal 10 minute beating to Tsuyoshi Kohsaka:

I knew you'd be al over this thread ;)
But Pride is great and in my opinion much better than the UFC, so check it out.
Morais has decent ground skills, but i agree that Pride should keep the freaks out.
I'll see if I can find some pics of Heath Herring before and after the Fedor fight :) |
