listening..
good industrial sounds.. percs sounds a bit thin.. sounds a bit reasonish (sry bout dat) great chants.. synths sounds a bit thin..
i think there are some mixing issues going on here, with both the percs, bass drum, synths and bassline.. sounds very mudded.. try adding an offbeat open hat on top of it.. always work... |

hey mate,
this is really good, the percussions are really good, although a bit thin, but i like them, good melodies, i miss a main melody, though, i really like the whole production, just try to come up with some catchy main melody for the track, and it will be all good,
looking forward to the final version!

Hey Renco, this is sounding good! It's already been mentioned, but the percs are very thin - maybe you should add some shaker or scrapey sounds to give them a bit of texture.
That's my only complaint though! Keep it up! :D |

- nice subtle percs, i'd use some filters on them to just add variety
- cool break at 1:50 with the choir
- maybe add some bottom end pads to that break to increase the drive and energy
- those melodies are pretty cool, but i was hoping there would be like a faster version of the lead, like a hyperactive keyboard, which would then snare into the 4/4 kick. |

Nice one! I turned it on and did some other things meanwhile, and I forgot it was your track. Was just like I had some radiostation on :)
Good luck! |

| tbh i prefer the original, has that deep/dark hypnotic feeling that i really love in progressive music |

Hi Renco.
I always listen to your stuff. I like this too! I love the deep echoey industrial hits you've chosen! The synth selection is great!! They all collectively come together great!
I never checked out the original but I don't need to...this is cool! I would have had a deeper lead synth take that melody over or, even better, developed a better melody line for the new lead. Will be interesting to hear the final full version to see if you already had this in mind....this isnt done right? Cuz the ending just faded out.
Also, for 256kbs sample, I thought you EQed too much of the sparkle and shimmer outta the hi-freqs. You must do your mixdown with the subs on!;) |

| Sounds good, but I think it's too much reverb. |

Yo Rencooo
Great proggy sound here m8, love acidish synths, they make a great atmosphere. Nice bell-like sine things in there, 2 voices works so fine. You need a lot more hats in there to keep the drive, have a look at that, Ren. Also in the break try to put a low string, a bassy one, underneath those vocal pads, it'll give a lot more volume to it, and sound great i think. Overall abso-ing-lutely tight , get this in one of your shows on AP radio! :D
