Has anyone watched it? I was still sleeping but I was just reading many of the reports and looking at the pictures. Looks really beautiful touching and sad all at the same time.
What impressed me the most was that the Israeli president Moshe Kazav shook hands with the Syrian president Bashar al-Assad (even though he denied that in the Arab media), and shook hands and had a conversation with the Iranian president Mohammad Khatami (apparently they were born in the same town). Let's hope this continues, perhaps the pope in his death brought those nations together closer than anyone ever has. *Fingers crossed.* |
