i know a lot of yall have never been to the compound, but let me tell you personally, it is a COOL club! so cool in fact, it just won 2004 best new club of the year from the 2005 world club awards in miami during WMC on 3/23/05 :wtf: :crazy:
very nice layout, 3 seperate areas of music, REALLY awesome environment, you just hafta see it to believe it ;) main dancefloor is pretty massive too :thepirate
but so Junior Vasaquez is coming there on Saturday, April 23 (circuit diva house for anyone that doesn't know, old resident of twilo nyc), and I thought it would be an awesome TA outing to check out the Compound and here some good music :)
and plus, itll deff be nice and warm by then, which will be awesome, cuz about half of compound is outdoors!!! :disbelief it's in a very industrial neighborhood, so they rock the music outside like no one's business ;)

and btw, admission will probably be $15 or $20, and parking is free ;)
even if you're not a big diva house fan (YET!! :tongue2 ), at least go to check it out on a night when there wont be hip hop and playing in the main room!! ha

gotta bump this , cuz after seeing icey at compund this past saturday, everyone HAS to check out vasquez this saturday!!
ask anyone that went - this place has a nice vibe, cool crowd, totally sweet setup, and people the LOVE to DANCE!!

compound is pretty sweet. Their dance floor is HUGE!!!!! And drinks are pretty good too :)
I've been waiting for a big DJ to hit the compound for a while now. Sounds good, I'm def in. |

| What was annoying was going to the LTJ Bukem show and finding out he didn't even make it into the country. I had to settle for the local djs which were mighty good. I could definitely settle for them again. Hope Junior can actually make it. |

FYI-there will be most likely be legions of shirtless, gay men at this event...Vasquez is a fixture on the gay club scene. Consider yourself warned if you go ;)

sucks about bukem!! but you're right, the mark always does have good locals... who was spinning??
hopefully you liked the club too!! personally, one of my favs, really thick vibe, people that dance like crazy, and the strongest drinks in town :crazy:
oh, and vasquez is from new york, so hopefully it wont be a big problem :thepirate
