Well it seems they had so much success with the yellow Lance Armstrong Livestrong wristband they've decided to apply the same concept to other "problematic" issues...Issues such as racism in football.

*CLICK*

PS
These are available only in Europe so far it seems

How about wristbands to end poverty? *CLICK*....looks like there's a wrist band for everything...supported by all the superstars

I think its a great idea, the whole loopy ribbon thing has been overdone, every colour has been used for several causes. I am not sure about racism in football though....is that really a big enough issue? Heh maybe it is...I just havnt heard about it? How about just racism in general?

Well racism in football is a big issue when about 40,000 fans sing a racist chant at some players and etc...apparently it's quite wide-spread :(

these bands have been out for a while now... its just a publicity stunt by nike to make a few extra bucks(gary neville backs that claim as well) ...ive been trying to get my hands on a pair though ... i think they look pretty funky

Hooray! Go on eBay and buy one for $20 when it originally cost $2! For a ty plastic bracelet! Yay!

These charitable wristbands are nothing but a publicity stunt. To paint a good picture of NIKE even though they're a wrongdoing corporation (sweat shops, etc.). The public only sees things on the surface.

Rooney, Henry and a lot of other guys are sporting them (primarily the ones sponsored by Nike)...they are saying that at most 25% goes to the production of them and the rest to the charities...It's a good idea though, the kids love it, and it goes to a good cause (overall). They are all sold out in Europe as the website suggests...

Yeah I could see this being in favor for Nike than it is for the actual cause.
I wouldn't mind a pair, but I hope my brand new Nike ' Geoff McFetridge Edition ' watch can get the same recognition by these great footballers  :p
