Help with equipment

| I'm thinking about investing in DJ equipment and I just wanted to know what kind of numbers I'll run into and what I should start out with. If anyone can help me out with that info I would really appreciate it, thanks:) |

Most people will reccomend Technic's 1200's for your turntables. That'll run you about $700 for two of them brand NEW. On ebay, you'll probably pay a little more than half that. For a mixer, you can skimp a bit. I'd suggest the Numark DXM-06. Cost is about $200 and it should be more than enough for the beginning to intermediate dj. Headphones, I don't have much experiance with headphones, but if I could get any headphones, they would be the Sennheiser hd280's, which are about $100.
So, if you're out to get a pretty good setup, you're looking at about $600 to $800. |

| for needles look at the stanton 500 AL II..theyre about $30 a piece i think and theyre a good first pair |

| Oh! I totally forgot about needles. I would reccomend the Shure M44G's. They're cheap and they sound great. 'Nuff said. |
