I have about 200$ to burn. anyone got any recommendations for software, or samples?

this is probably the best sample cd for trance music available. well IMO.

cant wait for vol.2 :D

Use that money to take some music lessons, or to attend percussion workshops. That's not a lot of money to spend, but I think what I mentioned would be the best value to you as far as production goes.

i also agree, vengeance sample cd is probably the best 'EDM' sample cd out there.
