when i worked at chapters i read her biography,, and trust me it was one of the best bios ive ever read it was really hard to put down,,
it was really sad actually, raped at 10, abusive father, step dad molesting her , getting her into magazine porn, then getting her addicted to drugs...and having a number of abusive boyfriends along the way...,,,and having the fbi bust in your house when your practically half naked and taking you down to the station and laughing at you while they watched your porn to see if it was her..
all she had was a crappy fake birth certificate that her step father gave her,, while he told her she was going to modeling,,she was 14 i think....
she only had one legal porn she filmed in paris on her 18th birthday,, the rest is all illegal kiddie porn.
but then she had a b movie acting career and did a bunch of other random ..
she was a dj for a while,, im not saying a good one,,, but one part of the book mentioned her sneaking into a dj booth and giving paul oakenfold her record,, and he actually spun it that night..

Wow, I didn't know she wrote a book.
Makes me wonder what goes through a girls mind when she works in that industry? How do you survive and move past that, without remorse, regret or becoming defensive?
In the biography interview, she sounded very humble. Seems she's turned out alright after all the crap in her life.
Goes to show that no matter how bad you've had it, there is always someone that has had it worse and has found a way to move in a positive direction :) |
