Same Remix, Different Song

When I made my last Synaesthesia Remix I noticed alot of missing elements and not so cool pads, and it sounded too much like the original. So I stopped making trance for a few months and started observing songs and now i'm back into making songs.

Take a listen to my progression, don't mind the percussion, I just did a basic percussion set, but i'll be adding more to the song as I complete it.

jus sounds to me like you've assigned a few instruments to a midi file and put a couple of new chords on the pads.

If im brutally honest its totally not the way to approach these songs, i mean if you're going to do a remix you'd want your version to stand out, i mean its difficult, the en-motion/van dyk/corsten versions did what you're trying to do so well. Experiment with the style a bit more!

I tryed to do something different with the bass, but I'm trying to aim for more what Mesh did with the song, it's different but it still shows signs of the songs.

Hmm the bass doesnt really make a total song tho, the way you've approached it is still the same as whats been done in the popular remixes of it. Needs more imagination

I'll put further work into it, i'll hopefully come out with something cool.
