Wow what a night. After hearing about Cosmic Gate last weekend i was pretty excited about going to WH, i dont know what i was thinking, after about an hour in there i remember why i hate the place. I felt so bad for Gielen, he deserves a much better crowd - actually he deserves a crowd period, the place was so dead that i almost left for Morillo at Spirit. What made my night was my boy Stan hooking me and my friends up and letting us on stage to meet Johan and party with him for the night. He gave me a Signed CD and also signed my Trance Energy stage map. I also finally got to meet the very beautiful SVETA, it was a pleasure meeting you, and I also met Redeye our mod. Tracks of the night were Yahel feat. A-Force - Behind Silence, and Jonus Steur - Castamera. I got work in like 3 hours so there is no point in sleeping now, here are somePICS

Just woke up. Yeah.... Johan deserves much better venue than WH. They were trying to find an excuse telling us that the previous DJ scared a crowd away... bs. Did you see that crowd? there was nobody to scare. I think it would be dangerous for me to be on the same train late night with some of these guys. LOL.
And pls, no more striptease dance contest during a dj set.
But... Music was great. I ejoyed it a lot, dancing with some other people like Thero 40 p.ex. hahaha. BTW, you forgot The Killer's "Mr. Brightside" hahaha. It was great to meet you, guys.
Johan, It was so nice to hang out with you and Ian. Pity you had to go to Vancouver but we'll see you in June and i'm so much looking forward to it.....Best.

Sorry to hear about JG in WH. Cosmic Gate had a packed club. Yet to tell you honestly Johan did not impress me in Avalon few months back. Nothing special about the mixing nor track selection. And the crowd for Cosmic Gate & Vicious Vic actually CAME TO SEE COSMIC GATE AND VICIOUS VIC. Well we have two heavy weights coming up in May ATB and Scot Project and I dont care if the club is empty I am going to see them.
PS Cosmic Gate actually HATED THE FACT THEY ARE SO FAR AWAY FROM THE CROWD!!!! I totally agree. The tables should be right in the front of the stage. |

the weirdest thing was the crowd that was walking back and forth on the stage and yes, booth was kinda far from the main floor but otherwise where you would put ungly dancers?
Am i a female version of Ian? I think it's a compliment.:) |

Yeah, basically what my brother said. I feel so bad for Johan, but I cannot believe that he was so positive through it all. I would have shut off and walked off the stage. Hopefully, NYC will treat him better in June. Only positive was that it was so empty, we got to chill with him.
Nice meeting Sveta and Stan and nice seeing you again Rob. Hopefully, everyone's going to PVD next week.

wait, i missed something...WHERE is johan playing in June?
omg i HOPE its somewhere else other than WH!!! *crosses fingers*. When he spun at sh*tty avalon in December, even that was PACKED, and he threw down a KILLER set. :D |
