Hey, I am currently producing a melodic trance tune.
I am really happy with all my elements so far, but I am having one hell of a time trying to get strings right.
I am trying to recreate deep sine like Stringy Pad things that sounds deep, yet when they leave the mix they dont produce a gaping hole in the track. Any suggestions? |

for software, try vanguard
for hardware, in my setup I use yamaha an1x and roland sh32 most for pads |

| if you're using FLStudio there's this strings sf2 file somewhere (just use the soundfont player, it's the default ensemble), it's good enough. |

| If you like hardware you should definatley get JD-800.. That synth is the string/padsynth nr1.. No kidding, it would probably kick the Prophet-5īs ass twice and come back for more. |
