I just watched Louis Black do a standup on this. It went something like this,
America is the only country that is always letting the rest of the world know how great a country it is. Imagine working in an office and there being a guy that always comes in and constantly reminds everyone else in the office how great a person he is. "I'm the greatest guy ever! The rest of you are nothing compaired to me!" I guaranty that after a week you would have killed this guy. |

everyone loves to jump on the bandwagon to hate anyting american... ..people just need to stop being so damn anal and just laugh at things and dont take things to heart.

| Hey, it is funny, especially when you're not American. If Americans can laugh at themselves then that is cool. But the worrying thing is that there are a hell of a lot of americans who obviously believe that this is what is supposed to make America 'great'. I guess to be fair, there are a lot of normal people in America. It would perhaps be a pleasant change to hear from them now and again. |
