k, i'm finally feelin a little more rational..
got to the docks around 11:30.. walked right in which was beautiful.. pulled the no jacket trick so avoided the coat check lines..
Justin (oldschool420) and I did some quick rounds to check out the place.. they turned the old coat check into another room??
Lady Linzee was still on, only track i recognized that she dropped was "Yes - Owner of a Lonely Heart (max graham remix)?" which was played again later on in the evening (dj dan?) it was strange there were at least 3 tracks that got multiple plays that night..
Spektrum - Kinda New
Yes - Owner of a Lonely Heart (max graham remix)
i love the way you move <-- i don't know the artist
the crystal method - WOW.. what a treat. Seriously the best breaks-flavoured set I have heard in a LOOOOOONG time.. CM dropped sooo many wikkid tracks and of course I immediately forgot what they were..
BBB comes on - talking with Justin we're agreed he was definitely playing the most funky out of all the dj's on the main stage.
highlight of the night..
dirty dirty throw it in the wash dirty remix of Mousse T - Right About Now
man this was incredible - this track is killing me right now and to hear it on a big system was just :D:D:D:D:D
i recognized more tracks that BBB dropped, but again forgot most of them within short order.. he did play alter-ego - rocker...
dj Dan.. god i love this guy - came on a little eclectic but had me jammin from the get go.. dropped plenty of bombs (dylan rhymes - salty ... HELLOOOO!! :D) others I can't remember.. a little techy but nothing was gonna stop me dancing at this point...
first time i _really_ stopped dancing was a little after 6 when Barry Weaver was on.. i spent the whole night in front of the main stage..
shouts out to the TA's I bumped into; Cuzo, Feems & Swamper
nice meeting you magikb!
amazing wikkid old school party party party vibe.. haven't had that kind of fun in a LOOOONG time.. respect to dose & reconnected. |

Jamie...lol, I said "heard" not "heard of" (I meant live)
Oh, what was the deal with "Jimmy light show"? Some dude was carrying a dummy around with that written on his back in glowing letters. They only come out at night (I'm one to talk).
p.s. go kool aid boy! |
