...that Jacques Lu Cont (AKA Stuart Price, Thin White Duke, Man with Guitar, Paper Faces, etc, etc) took 'Man With Guitar" off the platter and handed it to me. (well to be accurate he stuck it in a sleeve first!)
the night was a cracker.
Seb Fontaine nicely warmed up the Cross from 12-2 (brutal mixing, but very fun Ibiza terrace like tracks), and then Mr. Price lit the place on fire. The Cross is quite intimate and you get arms length distance to the DJ. Taking advantage of this I basically drove him nuts. I kept trainspotting the tracks and he was laughing his ass off, when I heard 'Man With Guitar" slowly coming in I went mental. When the track finished, he smiled, handed me the record and said "keep it". hah Great guy!
He's a new personal fav of mine (in/ out of studio) and I rocked out quite hard. If you get the chance to see him, GO! You won't be disapointed.

The “quack” song. WTF someone please ID this, it sounds like “Rocker” but instead of Bee sounds it’s an evil bomb quacking sound! Wicked. (Sounds like Alter Ego Production)
New Order – Blue Monday (orig mixed) – Slightly tired of this, but everyone still goes nuts
Annie Lennox – Sweet Dreams (orig mixed with another track at the same time, very well done)
