Yeah, I was living in Denver (Parker, really) just like 3 years ago when that HUGE blizzard decided to come by. It absolutely dumped all it could on us and by the time it was done, we had about 3-4 feet of snow in the suburbs. Drifts in the Rockies were measured at like 16-20 FEET. :eyespop:

The coolest part about it was that we got the week off of school! The worst part about that was it was during my Spring Break! If only it had done its thing a week earlier or a week later I would have gotten 2 weeks off, but NOOOOOoooo.

Ah, oh well - shoveling was a great workout. :toothless

You know it's a bad storm when the Tow Truck down the street is snowed-in. :nervous:

The snow isn't the problem.... it's the cold and the dark. If the sun is out and it isn't too cold then snow kick's ass.... skiing, snowboarding, snowball fights, snowshoeing, snowmobiling/ski dooing (for the hard core French Canadians who still call it that), snowmen, sleding.... the list of cool snow goes on forever!

Somehow, I have this bad feeling that he's going to call your bluff. :nervous:

Snow can be fun to be around, especially when you're inside and it's outside. And MoralHazard hit the nail on the head - when it's bright and sunny and only reasonably cold out, snow is very neat! Unless it's just a few degress too warm and it starts to turn into slush all over and around you. :sadgreen:

Essentially though, I hate snow - so I moved to Florida where I never have to scrape my windshield off ever again....

I just have to pay for a new one when a hurricane comes by and smashes my car. :stongue:

Amen to that, Mel. This guy lives in Naples! That's like less than an hour away from me by I-75.
