Amazing DJ

You have to see this story. I’m sure most people in the music world already know who Frankie Wilde is but I just found out. The DJ was amazing but went deaf and still played. Has anyone ever heard his stuff or seen him live? They made a movie about him called It’s All Gone Pete Tong. It’s really good. You can see about it here www.itsallgonepetetong.com. Here is his site if you want to read more about him. www.frankiewilde.com

I need to see this...

I really hope that comes to my town's theatre. They'd rather play You Got Served on 12 of the 14 screens than play some other movies.

I have one question though. How exactly does Pete Tong tie in here? Was he a close friend of Frankie?

*edit* Just saw it's limited in NYC. Oh well...

Now correct me if im wrong but...

My friend is from Britain and is a DJ, he used to do live sets every tuesday, sunday, and some other day. Everytime he messed up(witch was rarely)they said its gone pete tong. I asked what do they mean and they said its said when someone s up behind the decks in Britain. dunno maybe thats why its called that.

Bingo, some people use it for when something in general has gone wrong, but its mainly said like how you described it.

Yeah it's ryming slang "pete tong" = "wrong"

"jimmy chit" = ""

"jimmy riddle" = "piddle" = going for a piss

"ham shank" = "wank"

"tug and yank" = "wank" (I made that one ;) )

from a guy who talks like a girl (UKTAs i'll know who I mean)
"jacobs" = "jacobs crackers (a brand)" = "knackers" = balls
