"At 3 PM Pacific on Monday, May 16, Sony will hold its E3 press conference on a sound stage in Sony Pictures' complex in Culver City where it is expected to publicly unveil the next PlayStation for the first time...
Microsoft already announced earlier this week that they plan to announce their next Xbox, aka Xbox 360 or Xbox 2, also on May 16th.
Sony will present the PS3 on a sound stage in Sony Pictures' complex in Culver City, just outside Los Angeles, at 15.00 PST on Monday, May 16th.
Microsoft will show their Xbox 360 three hours later (smart move by Sony) in downtown Los Angeles. At least both announcements are in the area of LA where the E3 is.

Heh. I think they mean to say that there will be a live revealing of the console at E3 which will be shown on MTV.
Then again, it doesn't look like that'll be happening. Apparently MTV will be showing it first and then it'll be revealed at E3. Meh. Stupid. I hate MTV. |

Micorsoft also featured a passel of quotes from publishing executives. To a person, they praised the forthcoming platform, and divulged a few details in the process. Among them were:
--Activision, Atari, Bandai, Buena Vista, Capcom, Codemasters, EA, Konami, and Midway are all working on multiple titles for the console.
--Sega is bringing Sonic the Hedgehog and other games from its "stable of popular franchises" to the platform.
--One or more of Rockstar Games' internal studios--either Rockstar San Diego (Midnight Club), Rockstar North (Grand Theft Auto: San Andreas), or Rockstar Vancouver (currently working on "original action titles")--is developing games for the platform. (Rockstar Leeds is a developer for handheld platforms.)
--Massively multiplayer online role-playing game developer/publisher Webzen is working on a game that will take advantage of the next version of Xbox Live's "stable service and online capabilities." Recently, the company announced APB, a crime-based MMORPG from Grand Theft Auto creator David Jones. |

Those are leaked pictures, actually.
In other words, there's a chance that they might be fake, seeing as how Microsoft has been trying to root out mole's, on the inside, by seeing who will steal and show! |
