this guy in my opinion is the hottest producer in edm right now...his style is awesome...productions like drop the pressure, destroy rock and roll, in your arms are amazing...
here's the thing, i knew he was big but not so big to turn down a u2 remix request...
watch out for this guy
btw, his EM is out of this world
read it for yourself:

| Well he's got to do what he's got to do. Since he said he is really busy, it's best not to commit to another remix, even if it is for U2. The last thing he wants is to say yes and end up making a ty remix because he had to rush to meet a deadline. |

i agree with you, but im still impress...
i would have think that a young producer would do whatever is in his hands to remix something like U2:conf: |

True, but there is probably a good reason why he turned them down. Perhaps he has obligations to fulfill for his record label, he probably wouldn't want to piss them off. |

if they want it so badly they'll ask him again, or offer more money.
he's probably busy.
i'm sure U2 would understand, it's only business. |

It could have been that the contract contained certain requirements mylo did not want to follow...
many remix contracts have specific song requirements...
why do u think primal scream barely ever gets to remix anyone...
cuz no one will know what the will happen to their song...
most remixes are made to order in a sense.. |

why are you lot debating why he didnt do the remix, when the answer is in the article linked in the first post?
"I've given up on remixes. It's been getting out of control.
"I don't have time any more. I was coming home with a deadline hanging over my head to do remixes and I needed a couple of days off.
"U2 wanted me to work on their song CITY OF BLINDING LIGHTS, which is a brilliant song which lends itself quite well to an electronic remix. I was gutted, but I had to turn them down.
"My main focus is on my live shows and recording new material." |
