Thanks for your replies Xenocreator and Flashback :)
Flashback, I think it is probably a matter of taste how wierd a track can go. In Psytrance, there are no real borders in exploring new limits of insanity and darkness, hehe. But this track was more planned as some kind of conventional full-on. I didnt want it to drift off into total madness, you know? :) ... but you got a point saying that this maybe needs another layer. |

Hello Cybernetica,
at first, youīve done a great job!
I normally donīt listen to psy trance but i like your track ...
Nice different basslines, panning is really cool!
Hm, i canīt say so much but i like it, was shaking my head when i listened to it ---> compliment
"Break" at 4:00 is really cool...
Well, and the cons?
I also think there is something missing. In my opinion itīs the depth... there is too much in front of your "box of depth", maybe a pad in the background will fill the space and add more depth..
But, great track!
Keep it up!

Nice work.
Your really drilling the out of vanguard to get those sounds man. The synth a 1.10 is spot on and really reminds me of the synth sounds GMS use. The one at 3.46 is excellent too.... very Green Nuns of the the Revolution. Man, this is all the stuff that I like! You never fail to impress me with your synth programming.
The groove is great, its drops down in complexity a few times but never looses its drive. I think you owe it to that funky ass bassline underneath it all. Its got some serious attitude.
I find that some of your tracks get lost in amongst all the layers and weird sounds sometimes, but not this one, it just keeps on. This would have to be my favourite one of your yet. Even better than Pitch Black.
Only criticism, is I think you could give it a major peak instead of all the smaller ones, but this is intense deep Psy, not the top 40 stuff so maybe your going for a more evolving soundscapes rather than a big peak and drop. |

Hey mate!!
You know I'm not into psytrance, so if you see some signs of complete ignorance from my part, please forgive me.:D
I don't know why (I think is personal preference) but I don't like the zippy sound that goes with the Kick, it somehow manages to hurt my ears, perhaps, is because I'm not used to listen to this genre.
Nice FX Sounds and crippy-weird sounds in there.
Damn!! This track is crazy!! (In the good side, those snares or drums used 4:37, are neat!!!
Wow!! a panning synth, great there bro!
Except from the Zippy sound going along with the kick, I like every aspect of the track, oh, what was that? a laughing sound? didn't like that one either, but is forgivable and forgetable as I get into the complexity of the track as follows.
Nice Job! |

| I guess I should check out your other tracks as someone mentioned those normaly have too many layers lol. |

- really nice to hear some unique sounds
- that first bass/synth sounds a bit too harsh. make it a bit less dry sounding, but then again that would sound less like what you're trying to do i guess
- cool bass, but to complement it better i'd make the kick a bit more flat and deeper, with less higher frequencies. sort of like the kick/hyper-active bass combo Juno Reactor has in many of their songs as a backdrop
- those noise stabs sounds nice
- cool effects with the bass when the snare comes, but that laughing sample is kind of annoying
- like already, the track seems to lack more layers like your other tracks. i hear all sorts of cool layers in the back with various sounds, but there is just no enough. i want more.
- the lead sounds nice, but again more variation would sound better
- overall, the song could use some sort of background noise, like a swelling pad or some weird strings in the background to keep the flow going
- nice percs at ~ 4:30, but i'd use 'fuller' samples for the drum
- that panned synth at ~ 5:00 could use more automation, or some sort of fx, maybe reveerb. also try adding semitone jumps to the melody to give it that goa sound.
- that deeper bass after 6:00 sounds good
- holistically, the track is very trippy.
 |

Thanks a lot for the valuable feedback guys: S-Tune, Axolotyl, PDM and eulerfx ... this helps me a lot. :)
My next track will be a very harsh experimental Psytrance tune, just like Psy meets Industrial ;) |

this is excellent, i'm getting more and more into my psy-trance (as it seems is most of the rest of the world!) and it's good to see producers on here making some top notch stuff like this!
i agree that the lack of a big main lead means that it wouldn't be the biggest tune of the night (at a psy night at least... maybe at a hard trance night it would really stand out!) but not every tune has to be the biggest anthem ever.
good work :D |

**playing: cybernetika - shark [03:48 | 07:46] / 192 Kbps**
Well golly gee wiz cyber. I have always had a soft spot for PSY, and you have done it pretty damn good justice. Kick is solid. Percs are groovy. Maybe a little clipping? Or are my headphones crapping out?
Digging the effects. Likeing the toms.
All in all real solid. I'm a go play my infected mushroom cds. Later!

NICE <3 the panning, makes my head hurt, i love it.
Bass is pretty solid too. Basslines are hard to do too.

Thanks for the feedback :)
Yes, there might be some clipping, it sounded quite good to me so I decided to leave the track alone before clipping the hell out of it ;) |

| anxious to hear your next track, as i myself have a secret obsession with industrial but hate and embaresed to admit it |

| i want you to make it so that 14k-16k go crazy, i think thats what your missing, some psy are just focused on that, and its sounds full in general |
