University of Dallas, etc.

Does anyone here go to the Univeristy of Dallas? Or know anyone who does, or live in the Dallas area?
I'm a senior trying to decide what university to attend and I've been offered close to a full ride there, but I don't know anything about the area. So if anyone can tell me what they think about the scene down there and the area in general, I'd appreciate it.
thanks :p

It's weird, I was actually accepted to the University of Dallas today into their MBA post graduate program. So I will be going there starting this summer. I love Dallas. I lived there half a year last year and had an awesome time. The scene is awesome, the girls are gorgeous, the clubs are great, I'm perfect, etc etc.

If you have any specific questions let me know - Dirk

Awesome, I'll most likely be going there, starting in the business program. So do you think its an academically hard school or not? I've heard it's non-stop studying and I've heard it's easy...what's your take?

i havent heard anything about it, but my guess would be that it is easier than it is harder. but, my theory as to why could completely backfire. They are not nationally ranked to my understanding which would lead me to believe they probably have a less stressful curriculum. Of course, this could be reverse the truth if they are trying to build their reputation up....

my guess: its not that bad

i know some ppl that go

they said it aint to bad

do you mean UTD? if so, that's where i go, and our business program isn't bad. the courseload here is tougher than most schools which is a bummer, but for EE (my major) it's an excellent place to be.

though i am about move to UT if i can.

I'm Catholic but not religious really.
I'm flying out to visit next week I think.

I'm originally from NJ, I'm more into the cold weather. I don't know if I'll be able to take the constant heat down there...:eyes:
