I was wondering if anyone knows of any *free* multi-track recording software that run on MAC OS X (g4+). I am currently running audiodesk 2.0.2 on my G4 powerbook, but AudioDesk requires that I be plugged into my MOTU 828mk2 to run it.
I am looking for software that is hardware independent so that I process effects on my audio (and such) while I am 'on-the-road'. Doea anyone know of any good recording/editting/effects processing software that is easy to use for Mac OS X?
I came across digital performer 4.5, but that costs ~$300. Has anyone used Digital performer 4.5? Whats your opinion of the product? Does anyone know where I can download the free trial of digital performer for mac os x?
I will only need the DAW software to record single stereo tracks one at a time.
Anyways... any help is appreciated. |
