Also- pm Fran (avikonen)- he has a membership to the MoMA and can give u passes to get in free.
we never made it there this past trip.
after i had lunch w/my cousin one day, i realized i was right around the corner from the MoMA, and had i known, i would've taken a pass and gone myself. no matter tho- i needed a nap anyways. ;)

true .. you could jetblue it for under $200 us round trip from buffalo(and thats if you book last minute)

Im pretty surprised that you shelling out that much for a hotel though ... i shacked up with 2 friends in november 2003 at the Sheraton near the UN bulding and we paid $60 each per day ... i guess prices prolly go up during the summertime

dance parties in new york suck ass compared to toronto ... its all about the lounges there.... whiskey blue, hudson bar, lotus, show, bed etc ... you should check some of these out if you get the chance ...

Yeah I know about Buffalo and that offer was on the table but I'm not going alone...in fact I'm going with my mother (who is rather hip and cool lol) and the way we ended up planning things out, the whole Buffalo drive would've been nearly impossible. The tickets from Buffalo were indeed almost a 100 bucks cheaper though.

Hotel wise, there's nothing decent under 200/night right now...I got an amazing deal on the hotel I booked which usually charges 330/night US!!! Trust me I've been working on this trip 2 days straight non stop planning and figuring things out...this is one of the cheapest versions. And also because I'm going with my mother I can't just book a crappy place...there are some specifics involved :)

I doubt I'll be partying...I already checked the NYTA board and didn't find any AMAZING parties that are going on there that weekend, but we'll see.

And Nat thank's so much for the tip about MoMA...I really really want to go there, we'll see if it'll work out time wise :happy2:

That's a really nice hotel, believe me I work in the travel industry and I can say that you got a pretty awesome deal, that's a 4 star hotel located in the heart of Manhattan. Enjoy your trip man
