I have windows xp pro with sp2, updated til today! and msn 7..

any advices!

ps. only happens with .mp3 files

sp2 has had some problems, but I don't think I've heard this one.

DON'T WORRY! I hope that I am right in saying that if you right-click the file and select Properties, there's an option somewhere which will allow you to unblock access to the file. It's not a problem, rather an unexpected security feature.

Um, so my suggestion didn't help? I doubt you have to manually unblock each and every mp3 file you receive, rather it's a case of looking around your Windows Security Centre (it should be in your system tray) and disabling this particular feature.

EDIT: Actually, I'm talking bollocks. All I know for sure is that Messenger blocks transfers with certain extensions if the sending user isn't on your contact list, but that probably isn't applicable.

u can still .rar it or zip it and send like that.
