wtf, first I heard of this. couple of weeks ago I dropped, I drank like 15 bottles of water that night, no bs. As long as you're dancing, sweating it off, I can't imagine that it would be bad. You CAN drink too much, and drown yourself, but I think you'd probably pass out before you had a chance to do that, and I don't think e has anything to do with it.
IMHO, the around these days isn't nearly as good as it was 5 years ago.
Moderation is key. One BAD thing to do is drink while on e. I was lucky once, and not so lucky another time. It all depends on your body and how it will react, but couple of things to keep in mind:
1) e, while trippin on it, makes it much more difficult for your body to regulate its own temperature
2) alcohol has a natural effect of lowering your body temperature. Thus if you f*** around with both of them, you do increase your risk of something bad happening.

Speed is SOOOO much hardsher on the physical system then E. At least after e people couild sleep.

Correct. My girlfriend is currently finishing a course on Drug Dependeces and Addictions at McGill and, to be honest, both drugs aren't that good for you to begin with. Reading just Erowid and other online sources won't make you knowledgable in this area. Yes, what they're giving you is correct, but they don't give you whole truth.

Ecstasy:
- The max you should take this is once a month at most. If you do it weekly, you're basically killing your memory and learning skills. After a while, you're going to feel depressed all the time due to lack of serotonin cells. If you're lucky, you might get some of them back in a year or two, after your body tries to repair itself. Taking a dose or two of E one night will take your body 1 month to recover itself, but in some cases up to a year.

- As Wisnia said, take sips of water, and don't chug it all down. You should keep track of how dry your mouth and lips are and drink accordingly. Feeling a bit hot? Drink a few sips.

- The comedown is terrible sometimes, so get ready to force yourself to eat healthy foods, because your appetite will diminish for 2-3 days. Take 5-HTP (herbal drug) to help you with your comedowns. It is a precursor to serotonin (it helps regulate the hormone in your body; e.g. bring it back up to its normal level). Vitamin C and E are your friends.

- If you want to get a real good and safe high, drink Vitamin C before pilling. Grapefruit juice is what you need. Drinking this stuff will help your body metabolize ecstasy faster and process its digestion. With the added Vitamin C, you will be doing less damage to your brain. The onset effects by taking this will speed up.


Methamphetamine (Speed):
- In my opinion, it's worse than ecstasy; it WILL do more harm to your body in a single use. If you don't let your body recover for a month after doing this, you're just asking to develop psychosis (schizophrenia). Speed affects your dopamine levels, which is responsible for your motor skills (walking, talking, moving an arm, etc). Depleting this will result in you being one deranged individual. You'll rarely be happy, and your mood is always going to be neutral. Why? Dopamine is the "rewarding hormone" too. The effect of feeling good comes from this baby. Don't lose it.

- Once again, this drug can take up to a month for your body to return to where it was before using it, maybe up to a year. Depends on how healthy you are and how much you use in one night.


In conclusion, as everyone mentioned above, moderation is key. Don't just trust online sources; they're only telling you what you want to hear. And don't necessarily trust what television tells you either. Ecstasy does not "make holes in your brain" or drain your spinal fluid. Some of the reports you see on these drugs are a big mess funded by old presidents to win the war on drugs. Do your own research and remember to play it safe!

Yo my advice for first time pill-poppers is (mainly for those who work or go to school during the week) if you're out partying or raving on a friday night, go for the speed just because you'll be able to wind down by Sunday and get some sleep, if you are going out saturday night PERSONALY I would take E just because it takes WAY less time to come down from and it's just soooo good.

Oh yeah, moderate hydration is key for both, I think it's a glass and a half of water an hour or something like that, don't chug it all at once at the beginning of the hour, spend the night sipping water. And for all the dudes out there uhh, speed shrinks the goods so bringing your girlfriend with you that night might not be the greatest idea, also if you take speed you'll want to talk A LOT so if you live with your rents or with someone who doesn't approve of you takin like that... Find somewhere else to spend the day cause it's pretty obvious.
