To all those of you that signed up on tranceaddict waayyyyy back when it just began, like 2000 and 2001...
How'd it happen? Was it like a whole group of you together that sorta branched from the creator(s) of the site and decided to join up all at once? Or was it just some net surfing that landed you here....?
I was actually a lurker ever since I found a random link to its Live Sets page years ago. Then I found the forums, and after all that time, finally decided to sign up and start posting :)

| I started lurking in 2001. I ran into some TAs at a party at the guv, it was so long ago I don't remember which one it was, I ran into Del, I think, and since I was going nuts and seemed to know every track played, he told me to check the site out. Did, and used it for info on events, new tracks and sets for years. One of my close buddies got into trance a little while back and got me to finally join up after he met some TAs at a party he went to. |

| i used to kazaaa for trance. then i downloaded this pvd set live@cream,amensia 2002 (btw my fav pvd set). and the commentator would from time to time mention the name "tranceaddict crew" so i googled it and then i found this site. but i didnt kno it had a forum until months later. and once i saw it i joined it. last year |

i also found out about TA thru another site/forum that Swamper and I used to post on before TA was created..

It's all about referrals/ word of mouth.
in my case, I met a cool guy at a club, saw him around a few times- he's the one who told me about it. it was history from there. |

| I discovered TA in 2001 while searching for music. I stumbled upon the forums and read some of the events reviews etc. and thought to myself how nice it would be to go to a rave or dance club. I had heard about the massive raves in Toronto and was dying to check them out. Unfortunately, none of my friends at the time liked my type of music so I never went. I had stopped lurking on TA when I met loconet at Seneca in 2002. Through him I found out more about TA and was introduced to DJ Eso, Arek & Ziggy. Then started going to trance events and that's when I finally signed up. It’s been one big party since. :D |
