Been on Sasha's side for five years. It began with his single, "Xpander." Not only did this track make me appreciate Sasha, but officially made me a trance addict!

a defining and powerful track for DAMN sure - same as James Holden - Horizons sweetness.

Sasha was my first trance love/DJ wise. He was hot and played the best records for 5 years straight!!!! He is a pioneer of EDM and deserves all the respect he gets!!

INvolver is amazing - remixing every track.....gushing....

SASHA.

I have been listening to EDM for 5 years, Tiesto.

And he requests that much money for a show because he knows he will get it. No one can fault the guy for getting paid. Not one person here can say otherwise. Money is the driving force in just about every single human.

I've been listening to Trance for about two years.

Defiently Sasha he's the reason I started to listen to EDM. And Sasha is masterful and creative behind the decks. Where as Tiesto knows how to put on a party.

I voted for Sasha, although his music is hard to get into. But he contributed a lot more to the EDM scene than Tiesto, and he is much more versatile....

I like both DJs/Producers. I went through a "i hate Tiesto" phase a while back, but now that I've been listening to his old stuff and his ISOS 4 CD, I've got to say that he is just as good as he's always been. What I like about Tiesto is that he's not super-technical or a huge perfectionist with everything, but he still can put together a nice set and plays good music. Sure the guy has a pretty big ego, but I still think Tiesto has a really great ability to connect with people and he really seems to love what he does. He has progressed just as other DJs have, and his sets have all different styles...trance, prog, techno etc.

Sasha is good too, if you like the more technical side of things. I have loved his music as well, especially Xpander, Involver and both of his GU CDs. I've also listened to a few of his essential mixes. What is cool about him is that he is definitely creative when it comes to putting together sets and making his mixes ultra-smooth and flowing. Sasha has also progressed, as have many DJs. Liking both DJs is possible, and it really depends on what your more in the mood for; a more natural, traditional and yet varied sound or more technical, creative and experimental yet still varied.
