can anyone reccomend any good mp3 joining software...i am using mp3 joiner and cutter version 1...but its not that good, as the new song is being mixed in, it starts skippying like when a cd is scratched..

| try using sound forge. not cheap, but i imagine you have an idea of how to fix that. |

its becuase there's about 20ms of silence at the beginning of mp3 files, its native to the format and there isn't much you can do about it.
basically, i try to get all my livesets NOT chopped up, then I just use Sony CD Architect and mark all the track points then burn a CD.
there is a program called mp3trim, it works OK, but not that great.
also, if you burn CDs in Nero, the latest version, highlight all of your tracks then right click and select "properties", check "crossfade with previous track" then change frames to about 4 or 5 and that elminates some of it, but if you know where the tracks change, tehn you'll def notice it.
the cd architect way is the way to go, and if you have a cue sheet, you can quickly plug in the times and have a perfectly burned mix cd in a few minutes. |

I have sound forge but it doesn't mix. i think you need acid to do that. |
