no, ur not dreaming, Captain Gek is actually posting in Music Discussion!!
wadda u think about Gigi?? i like his music a lot, but i often get the feeling there r a lot of ppl that like hate it...
and im wondering y, cuz he is able to produce pretty banging tunes, with a hell of a melody in it...
oh, and i didnt post this in the polls section, cuz this is ment to be a discussion, but im too lazy to count how many ppl like or dislike Gigi... |

| I love what he's done after "A Journey into Space". Tracks like "Music", "Souvenir" and "BlaBlaBla" are great IMO. But then again I like both Scooter and Ian van Dahl. |

Nope, don't like Gigi. He's too commercial in my opinion.
By the way, are you the same guy I know from the formule1-forum? If so..

BUT if theres some1 i hate these days its him. Austria is probably the country where hes most successful and in every disco you hear per night 6, at least 6 songs of him.
At first it was all nie and somewhat new or innovative but hes repeating. selling out, IF some1 is commercial then it's him, remixing all of his songs over and over..
Plus i saw him "spinning" live, what a shame. If he wasnt GIGI no1 would have even daned...god was he bad, but then again it was GIGI!! after all. so he just waved his hands and screamed and watched how the flipped out rowd did the same over and over..
his songs are TRASH if u listet to them well enough, and got NOTHING to do with Trance :whip: nor house :whip: nor quality-music at all..

^^^^ dear nick warren addict, wanted to tell ya that i purchased N.W. Global Underground: Amsterdam yesterday, the 2nd cd is probably one of the best things ive ever listened to, WoooW :eyes:
The 6th song i think wheres this guy talking about this "nighbour"..when he said..ING i exploded, never laughed that much before :D
Say, how are the other 2, or 3? GUs by him? |

oh good 4 ya man :) da song ur talking about is Sonic Infusion - Reformatted :D he says something about da vinlys and musik, and den he says "WERE EN HIGH" :D
i have bought all Nick Warren GU series, GU002 is classic, 1 of da best definately, released in late 97 close 2 98' GU002 is kind of progressive, with bit of trancey as well :) nick didn't make GU003, it was never released by Tony DeVitbut, dont know why. GU008 nick in Brazil, very good set as well, first cd trance, progressive, really good proggie beats...cd2 starts of from breakbeats, at least da first 4-5 songs r da rest is pure trance :) GU011, as 4 many ppl, is considered da best, trance all da way, barely ne proggie in there, kind of deep at da same time ;) 2 me GU018 was da best, can't get enough of those 2 cd's, their a real masterpiece, and Nick shows wat real progressive looks like in those 2 cd's
so if ur interested get GU002, 008, and 011 :D |
