Well, I finally have a bunch of free time off from work and school and decided to come home for the long weekend. Its suppose to be about 70 degrees today, tomorrow, sunday, and close to 80 on monday. PERFECT riding weekend...thats all I could think about the whole week. I get home today, rush out to the garage, get her (a 1990 600R ninja) ready...Just to be sooo very disappointed.
She idles rough and is running extrememly rich :(. I think a float needle is stuck. So, now im stick in the middle of connecticut, at my house, with nothing exciting to do within 50 miles...ugh, its gonna be a long f'ing weekend :(
Sorry,
I had to vent...just can't wait to see how much THIS is gonna cost me...

| I hear your pain, my car had been sat outside all winter due to me not being able to install a new starter motor (needed a shim, for some reason hard to find) so I found a place and was gonna fix it tonight, only to get home to a missing car, the dam thing has been impounded, I'm currently waiting on some info so I can go get the thing, its gonna cost me about 200 bux all together, WTF I got so many other things I would rather spend that money on, but I wll get it done, and I'm making sure I still have a good weekend. |

Haha, Orbax. Wish it was that easy. I ripped the thing apart today...but just am WAY to afraid to open up the carbs. Too many little parts for me :). I guess I can just bring the carbs to the dealership...this at least gives me time to adjust the valves...sigh...maybe I should just crack em open myself...would be a good learning experience. lol
Hows your bike running BTW?

just got some new Dunlop 208s thrown on there. Awesome tires...man do they stick. SO much better than the Bridgestone Battleaxes. I wanted Pirelli Diablo Corsa but wasnt in stock and I was in hurry :(
Need an oil change but other than that runnin well. Still ride it every day to Seattle and back (80 mile round trip) so im gettin some good miles thrown on hehe. |

| Bikes, heh. I wouldn't tear apart the carb myself. I would have someone certified that knows what the hell he is doing to do that for ya. Those are way to easy to mess up with 1 misplaced or improperly adjusted piece. :( sorry to hear the bad luck though. I bought mine yesterday with great clear blue skys, now it's rain in the forecast for as far as I can see. So I can sympathize with you on the not being able to ride part. |
