Liverpool have won the European Cup twice before in 1978 and 1981

In 1978 The pope dies & the welsh win the Grand Slam ( 5 (now 6) nations rugby for those of you who dont know)
1981
In 1981, Prince Charles gets married, Ken and Deirdre get married in Coronation Street & there is a new Doctor Who appointed.
So far in 2005,
The Welsh have won the grand slam
The Pope has died
Prince Charles has got married
Ken and Deirdre have remarried on coronation street
A new Doctor Who has been appointed
I'd get down to the bookies now if I were you! :D
Btw I know this is football related, but given this is quite interesting regardless its football content i'd thought i'd stick it in this forum. |
