Sup all!

Tomorrow I get the great honour of interviewing the man himself, Ferry Corsten tomorrow when he is in TO for my radio show on ETN.FM (TranZaction on every Thursday from 10pm-midnight). I have a number of questions regarding the music industry, his new show style, and some stuff about his music, etc.

However, I know a lot of you know A LOT about Ferry, so do you have any suggestions for what I should ask him tomorrow?

Questions on his career, some funny questions (RJ, yes I know you'll think of SOMETHING other than Hamburgers), and some more specific questions about things I might not know about him ;)

I should have the interview and pictures up at www.kandaio.com/ferrycorsten . (should be by Monday night or so)

Thanks, and see y'all on tomorrow night!

yeah, ask him why the he had to come during exam season:whip:

PLease ask him why he chose to change his live set style so much away from the awesome uplifting stuff from the past!!!!

(perhaps I'm bitter that he didn't play enough epic stuff last time I saw him at guv)
EvilTree
^I second that question.

I miss days of Ferry 1999-2001.

Ask him if he can play Gouryella - Tenshi today.
Eklipse
Can you please find out what he thinks of the new Pioneer DVD DJ turntables, and if he plans on implementing that any time soon.

Also, where will you be posting the interview when complete?
Pettiscool

maybe? then again this is all speculation, so please ask

All GREAT questions, I will definately ask him about his changing style, I know exactly what you mean. I think things definately changed when he started down the path of "Rock Your Body Rock" techy type stuff...

Keep 'em coming! Ferry will definately appreciate these questions!

(also, I'm going to grill him HARD about live performance, don't you worry :happy2:

Being Dutch, does he prefer Gouda or Edam?

Please let him know that my personal preference is smoked Gouda.

b4k-oz has asked me to post these questions for consideration:

-Ferry, are there any music genres that are inspiring your style right now?

-With the media that can portray a positive or negative reference to dance music today, What impact do you want your music to convey to your listeners?

-With your busy lifestyle and travel what do you do to take time out for yourself and stay connected with family and friends?

-Do you have a favourite travel destination in mind where you go or would like to go to just relax? \

-Are you ever concerned about losing your privacy when you are aproached by a fan that has recognized you in public?

-Is there any one particular thing or ritual that you do upon arrival in a big city to psych yourself up and stay alert for an event?

-Can you recall a positive compliment received from someone who was just exposed to your music for the first time?

-Do you have any favourite place or restaurant in Toronto which you would like to visit or like visiting?

-Given your popularity in Ontario which has amassed in the last few years, would you ever considered shooting a video here either at our natural wonder like Niagara Falls or at our Toronto CN Tower overlooking the vast city (which is also the worlds tallest free standing structure)?

-Would you ever consider a private cooked meal with your devoted Toronto Tranceaddict fans? ...in the words of b4k-oz...Hehehehehehe!

that is all.

How does he go about deciding what to play on any given night?
Is he reacting with the crowd, or playing a preplanned list, etc...
