What a great night. Being on the dancefloor again felt so good.
The night started off interesting with a stupid fight that broke out and yeah I was afraid we were going to get hurt being so close...and poor dancingqueen got her foot banged up a bit.
The place was dead when we got there just after 10 pm...walked into the purple room and Dennis was still setting up. But once the music started..it was just so good till the very end. Got a little drunk...not as drunk as....haha!
Dennis...great start and finish to the night! You always show us a great time!
Eklipse...wow I must say you are abolutely terrific!!! I loved your set..super hard..sooooo good!!! Thanks for the CD. Looking forward to hearing it! :D
To my wonderful crew dancingqueen169, Vertigo, and playa24_7...I can always count on you guys to dance it up with me till the very end...every single time!!! I love you guys!!!! Dan....you were just killing me on the way home!!!:stongue: Dude my car is RED...not purple!!!! You best be drinking lots of water before bed!
Great seeing the few TA's that did come out for this. You guys ROCK!
This night was just what I needed...and I am soo ready for Ferry tommorow nite!!!!!!
I so wanted to hear my wedding song tonight :( maybe next time.

Dennis - monster choons as usual.
Eklipse (Greg was it? I had a few too many beers... Heh) - Layin' down some incredible tech trance stuff. Too awesome.
Everybody... You guys are the best. Dan, Karen, Kelly, Iliya, Andrew, Yohan, Timmyboy, Mercedeh, etc. As usual we TAs make the vibe in the Purple Room.

Absolutely incredible night, again! Things started a little slow; I was actually worried nobody would show up, since it's exam time and all. By midnight, however, the room was reasonably full and the party was in full effect.
Eklipse played some awesome trance. It's funny at the beginning all of us were like "Who is this Eklipse guy? What kind of music does he spin?" Well, half an hour into his set it was pretty evident that it wasn't house or techno, but rather full-on-hands-in-the-air trance that everyone in the room seemed to be so fond of ! Good job !
Dennis played a kick-ass set, as always. Particularly enjoyed the beginning of your set. Some beautiful tracks there !
Was it just me, or were there more girls than guys in the Purple Room at one point ? I love the Purple Room !

If there is one place I'm going to miss in Waterloo, it's the Revolution Nightclub(or simply Rev). I've been going there for almost four years now and that place just keeps on getting better and better. I generally hang out in the Purple Room, that's where trance/techno/house is being played.
What's interesting is how crowd has changed in the Purple Room over the years. When I just started going there it was mostly ravers in baggy pants, lots of people high, few girls. These days it's almost 100% typical clubbers, people are just drinking and, surprisingly, there are many good looking women.
Over the past 3 years I've been primarily going there on Trance nights, which happen once a month. The resident DJ is Dennis Hahn. It's always great Trance/Tech-Trance when he is on, and the crowd is going nuts !
I rarely step outside of the Purple Room, however. The music in the mainroom sucks, and the crowd is very thuggy-looking(makes me wish they had a dress code or smthn). Lots of great looking women in there though, so it could be a good place to meet somebody if you can tolerate the music.
Overall, the club is really nice and very very big. I'm gonna miss it !

It was a fabulous night, great vibe.
My first time at revolution, and I have to say, it's a very nice club.
DancingQueen and dance2dabeat! You girls ROCK! NuEra, great to finally meet you. Same with VERTiG0, EvilTree, Durafei, playa24_7 and any others I have not mentioned.

What a great night....didn't start off so well as I was attacked by the guard rail as the bouncer jumped some kid that mouthed off to him (have a nice bruise on my foot to show for it).
When we got in the club the music hadn't even started, but then Dennis got things going and got the room warmed up nicely for Eklipse.
Eklipse, what can I say, I have always heard good things about you and they were right....you played some great classic trance and banging trance....I don't think I stopped moving once :)
Dennis, what can I say that I haven't said a million times, you tore it up as usual and had me dancing right until they turned the lights up...Can't wait to check you out on the 22nd of May @ Republik
Kelly, Cale, Dan, Ilya, Timmyboy great time as always....nice to finally see Andrew (Nuera) and Mercedeh out :) |

Fight broke out in the line to get in rev and there was only like 5 people IN line, and it just opened! haha! Crazyness!
Had an awesome time as always! Frig man, for the local stuff, we get fackin amazing djs! Our res dennis hahn is amazing, the djs he brings are amazing, like fack! haha.
Eklipse! Sick ass set yooooo! haha! It was awesome though! Wasnt sure what you spun before you went on, but the entire set was just rockin! Hope to see you back soon!
Dennis, everytime man, EVERYTIME!, I always know when your spinning its going to be killer music! The room was pumpin! Awesome set!
Karen, hope your foot is aight! Kelly liza menely! Wheres your pics?? Cale, typical two drinks in hand haha.
p.s. I woke up and there was a steak beside my computer and a bowl of noodles. I guess I tryed to eat those before I went to bed lol! Never did get my fackin perogies! :haha: |
