This is a clip of the background song from the Rave scene in Man on Fire. The problem with the song from the movie is that it's actually two tracks grafted together.
When I was watching the movie, I heard a voice from Requiem for a Dream (Tappy saying "We've got a winner!"), and I loved the whole song. However, on the album, the track is not just that song, and there are no credits to the original author that I can find.
This track is not actually the one from the movie, but I was able to hunt down the background track. It's a "tribute" to Requiem for a Dream, as can be told from the similarity witht eh original Requiem soundtrack and the vocals at the last part of the song (not found in the sample).
There seems to be a bit of talking at the beginning of the track - a male and female voice talking in another language. Sounds German or Russian. I don't hear enough of either of those to be sure.
The original is 4min 54sec long - well, at least the one I have is.
Anyways, an ID would be nice, if only for the ID3 tag. *lol*
Also: Would any of you know any other tracks that have Requiem references in them, or that are remixes of the orignal tracks? Anything related to Requiem would be nice. I love the instrumentals from the soundtrack and I find that the remixes I've heard are amazing.
I already have the album - Requiem for a Dream: Remixed, but some other ones would be nice. |
