It certainly would be scarey if surveillence reaches this point, though we're half-way there already.

When's the last time you were denied a loan (in North America), got higher interest rates, or even denied the chance to buy something due to 'bad credit'?

When was the last time a job application form said that your social security number was 'required' (in USA) to apply for work before even getting interviewed? What happens to this information if you turn down the job or they don't hire you? How do you know if they really get rid of it?
