oh the carpet cleaning has started. we got thru the first night. she only made a few messes. i know i kept hearing her trying to get on the bed which that's not going to happen.

just some quick advice...stay away from all carpet cleaners that contain ammonia (basically just use the carpet cleaners sold in the pet section). ammonia smells like piss so in turn the dog tends to want to rewet that spot.

also, it's quite easy to train your dog to ring a bell when they need to go potty and this could make your life a lot easier. get one of those jingle/sleigh bells from the craft department and hang it from a string near the door. every time you take her out make her hand/nose gently knock the bell. in no time she will be ringing that to let you know when she has to go.

another tip

she may sleep better at night if you put a clock that ticks somewhere near her bed or whatever, will help her get used to not hearing her mama's heart beat ;)

thanks for the tips guys. the crate training will begin as soon as i can get her a crate. :)

All my childhood consisted of being afraid of German Shephards after being bitten and drug by my ass by one when I was 6. Cute tho I like puppies of almost any breed.

You are now ed.

You party days are now over.

In 6 months you'll actucally be able to go to work w/o coming home to piss on your floor. But you'll never be going anywhere for more than 10 hours at a time again.

However, enough with the negative... I love German Shepherds, my Fav. She's super cute. ;)
