I must be jaded cause if that is the way trance is in 05 I better find some other music to enjoy.
The first 45 mins was mind numbingly boring, so much so I had a bad headache. The then dissappeared to sanity of side room where I regrouped before enterirng the main room 30 mins later and haveing to retire to behind the bar till the music got good.
Last 45 mins was good but I reckon there are melbourne DJ's just as good.
$30 wasted.
One amusing note was the guy hangng out to see Papa Smurf |

thought steve played the best set ive ever heared him play. nice werk.
j00f was unbelievable. thats probably the 5th or 6th time ive seen him now, and it was up there with the best of em. excellent ch00nz, best trance crowd since the docks, awesome FuNNerZ.
trance is growing up in this part of thw world. |

great night! mark james was great, played nicholas bennison remix of 'revention' which i love :) then steve came on! phwoar! best set by steve i reckon, got everyone going great! especially with 'hungry', love it!! said hi to j00f and got some autographs which was excellent hehe.
john's first few tracks were great, nice and deep but still pumping! then played some psy trance for a while, got everyone going but some of it was a little boring for me. the middle hour was the best for me, with chemical brothers, digital blonde, human blue, oliver prime, 'papau new guinea', some track with jan johnston i think (was it a new mix of bt - remember? i dunno hehe), some excellent tracks in this time. then last hour was more psy trance, some of it seemed a bit repetitive to me but at the same time it goes off hehe. the psy trance disheartens me a little bit because i love the trance he plays that isn't psy trance, i mean some of it is good but im not as interested in hearing it, i can go to freebase or any other psy trance event and hear it. it cant ruin the night for me though, it was great :)
i dont think it was as memorable as qbh but still a great set as always from him. my backpack survived intact so it was a top night :)
i think my backpack got more greetings than i did! :toothless
good show, cant wait till next time :) |

I felt bad for missing this event.
But imagine my suprise whilst picnicking at skyhigh (dandenong), i bump into the man himself with his super honey status wife. it made my day ;)
