| went to see woody in hospital today....he had surgery to remove bits of bullet and cheek bone from his face....he's cool though i took him down all the newspaper articles....his jaw is wired up and his face is swolen up real bad but on the whole he's good....i think my days of running the bar are numbered,,,i couldnt deal with that again.... |

Well, I guess more than just a couple of us realize that 'body armor' is meant to protect the body. ;)
That is, unless you want to try to wear it on your head - which would be kind of odd. |

| the guy who shot my mate handed himself into 70 precinct yesterday and was charged with "assault 1" and "posession of an illegal firearm"...hopefully the guy will get banged up for at least 10-15.... |

| the guy who shot my mate got released on bail even though the DA and the cops said it wouldnt happen...we trusted them bastards...the charge has now been upped to attempted murder and all the witnesses myself included have got orders of protection.....woody is doing real good but he's ing mad that that lunatic got let out and he's seriously contemplating taking matters into his own hands and i dont blame him... |

I know that you get a lousy feeling and distrust in society's ability to handle things like this, when a would-be murderer gets released into the streets, but don't you think that he will attend the trial, and end up doing time? |
