Infusion's last show in Melbourne for 6 months, a decent local line-up (Gav Keitel and Ozzie LA are worth seeing by themselves) and all for only $20 - who's down? I should also point out that it's my birthday two days before this as well, so if you turn up you'll also have the added pleasure of buying me drinks all night. ;)

i should be there. i had a ball at room the last time they were out. that was a good night, anybody else remember evil 9 rocking out their remix of ils - music that night. so damn dirty! :)

Sunny is one of the best and most underground partys in Melb, I'm addicted to it!
Infusion to week and in a month Habersham.. AhhHhhhH!

brown alley say they have 'stacks' of tickets left, and all i could think was wtf? it's infusion! this gig seems to have slipped under the radar a little- is anyone in the know as to how ticket sales are actually going?
now also have some serious ignoramus questions:
- how long are they playing for, hour? or longer as they should be?
- i don't think i've been to a sunny party as yet and i def don't think i've seen all the support play before- are the other guys all breaks? what style??
getting my tix today, can't wait and i will also be celebrating a bday. |

1.5 hours apparently. Set times:
Keltec/ Mangan: 10.00 - 12.00
INFUSION (LIVE): 12.00 - 1.30
Gavin Keitel: 1.30 - 3.30
Ozzie La: 3.30 - 5.00

Sunny parties are always fun. Been going for over three years now on and off and they never fail to rock and bring in an educated, up for it crowd. As for the style of music, Keltec and Mangan play mainly breaks, Gavin Keitel plays fairly banging tech-housey stuff (think Melbourne's version of Lee Burridge) and Ozzie LA plays what could only be called "Melbourne progressive" (i.e. dark, hard and almost techy - although he was played with a more generic progressive sound at the last Sunny).
Also, just to warn everybody, the $20 early birds expire tomorrow night, after that it's $30. So make sure you get in quick. ;) |
