Best record label in the world imo.
i've not come across a label who release so many records with such a high percentage of quality.
Anything from ambient to pop to minimal techno, normal techno and electro. You name it they release it.
Turns out they are also a distribution company for 100's of other labels.

| ja, one of the best minimal labels. Houses pretty much every release of the younger Voigt, most of his older brother's minimal stuff, among many other renowned artists; not to mention dishing out wicked releases even now... (the Speicher series comes to mind). |

While I don't know anything about most of the artists on Kompakt, I have heard quite a few of the label's releases.
Definitely a great label. |

| Michael Mayer has made himself quite the powerhouse with Kompakt, no doubt about it. It wouldn't be too big an exaggeration to say that every techno DJ with some respect for himself/herself has at least one record from this label in the bag. |

| my fauvorites releases from Kompakt are from it's sub-label Kompakt Extra. Definetely quality music! |

| lately been impressed by this label as well, stuff like rex the dog - prototype/we live in daddy's car, dirk leyers - wellen, superpitcher - happiness (m.mayer remix), matthew jonson & the mole - dirt road & a boat from soundwave, etc are top stuff. but i don't like everything they put out. |

| I only recently have started listening to a few of their releases, and wow, they are just incredible! Their minimal techno tracks are simply outstanding and I have had some of them on repeat for quite a while. One of it's sublabes Kompakt Extra, is equally (if not more) impressive. :D |

perlon got the best minimal crew that is :)
though kompakt is nice as well, but i like kompakt more as a distributor for like.... all the other german minimal tech labels :)
and that they sell all the records on the website :D |

| Did you actually get your records when you ordered from that site. I ordered and ADA tune a while back and never got it. There's a load of tunes I'd love to get from that site but not sure if I'll receive them if I buy them. |
