| the original or Ferry's mix does it for me |

| Ferry Corsten's remix is obviously the best trance version - Tiesto's is emotionless, tacky and just plain awful. The Brainbug remix of Skip Raiders' 'Another Day' is very under-rated and is definitely up there with Ferry's take. |

| I still don't understand the backlash over Tiesto's mix. It's darker, more driving and more in line with the original composition than Ferry's washed out, overuplifting fluff job. I like my Corsten, but his Adagio remix does nothing for me. |

Skip Raiders - Another Day (Perfecto Mix)
Can't stand the Tiesto version. I used to like Ferry Corsten's, but the whole Dutch "anthem" sound of the late 90's I find very hard to stomach nowadays. |

you sir or ma'am, took the words out of my mouth
Ferry's a great musician and all, but his adagio for strings is definitely low in the ranks for me too.
Although Tiesto's version sounded a little abstract to me at first, after listening to it a few times, it is one my favorite versions. It has a raw driving power that just gets me energized.
But as many of you have already mentioned, the original is definitely the true master piece, and no remix could ever top it off. |
