so for some strange reason i had to take my earing out for work. it was pierced up at the top of the cartilage on my left ear...nothing too big. just a small black ring. anywhoo i've had it for almost a year now. i go to the job interview, they like me, call me back about 3 times to settle everything in. about a week in they tell me i can't have my earring. i do entery level IT work, i'm like an intern but i'm gettin paid. i dont have to interact with customers or anything like that...and yet, earring not allowed.
i figure, ill just take it out for work and put it back in...but its one of those rings with the tiny ball that goes in the back. IMPOSSIBLE to put back in, i tried and tried and tried, tried so much it got infected :( so now its gone. oh earring i hardly knew ye...my girlfriend thought it was hot too :mad:
so yes...anyone have any similar stories of lameness? |
