pretty close labour/lib dem split. this site is really vague though and only outlines some of the very basic policies. i don't follow politics, but if the lib dems are going for the student vote (which it seems pretty obvious they are) they are gonna have to do a lot better than this.
i will be voting labour though, although i don't agree with them wholeheartedly by any stretch of the imagination they are much more into keeping the country running on balance than any of the other parties imho.

I disagree. I think the site is pretty helpful actually, in that it provides a summary of the main policies of all the parties. I agree that it is vague in places but I think that's only in situations where marginal parties haven't declared their position on some issues, so the site is forced to speculate. As for whether information is provided on enough policies, well I think so. I think most people vote according to a party's stance on a handful of key issues (if they don't just vote for a personality, or blindly vote the same way they always have).
Since this election will be the first in which I'm old enough to vote (I'm now 21), I'm taking an interest in it, although my constituancy Woking, is one of the top 10 safest conservative seats, so my vote will effectively be wasted whatever I do.
The site thinks I should vote Green (29) or Lib Dem (18). I haven't yet decided who I'll vote for, but I've ruled out Labour (Iraq lies, Brown / Blair power struggle, ID cards / Passports circumventing parliament, Blunkett visa 'fast-tracking') and the Greens / UKIP as they're too radical to be feasible. I'm just about to Google for Monster Raving Loony! |

I don't know much about politics but this is what i think.
Am going to be voting Labour, we are living in a world where the world economy is in a recession. (spelling?)
Larbour appear to be keeping our economy under control which is an impotent fact, but under other issues there have been making mistakes, which makes me want to vote for lib-dems.
Lib-dems would be my second choose, i like the fact that there want to get rid off top up fees and keep the minin wage to rise aboth inflation, and not to cut tax, tax don't need cutting, we spending it the wrong at times, like the millennium dome:whip: , but the Lib-dem want to join the euro, which is not as strong as the pound and that makes me think that they would mess up our economy.
And for the Torys... well i dont think ill bitch about them.
There is more to say but i could go on and on |

i think the Lib Dems going for the student vote is really stupid.
1. many people about to become students are still as school so can not vote
2. students are the laziest most lethargic group of people ever meaning turnout will almost certainly be low
3. many people are anti-students especially those that have just graduated like myself.
feckinf tax dodgers :p |

| Most have got lib dem because lib dems have a load of idealistic policies of how theyd like the world to be. The thing is a lot of them arent workable policies and thats the problem. |
