Ever had a Broken Bone?

Well today I been playing football and BANG...my right foot broke while i was running(hurt so much). so Went hospoital and got it in plaster. I have to say it kinda sucks bcuz now I can't do anything only stay at home :/. but it kinda funny for me bcuz its my first time that i get broken bone...oh and I hate going upstairs and downstairs....its sooo hard :((
so anyone else ever had broken bone? whats your experience about it?
and If you got some advice please do Give. thanks :-)

Yeah, I broke three on my right foot. I had to walk 2 miles to the hospital to get them checked out. :( |

| broken and sprained every finger as well as cracked my tailbone twice from inline and snowboarding. i also broke my left arm jumping out of a tree. I jumped out, my leg caught a branch and i went face-first about 10 feet. lol |

u wuss. you can't do anything for a broken toe except maybe tape it to the one next to it so it heals properly.
the 2nd time i broke mine, i was running up cement stairs at my friend's apt. building and i tripped running up them, and i hit my knee too really bad. i was in more pain over my damn knee cap than my toe. thank god she was packing up her bong by the time i got upstairs. lol the weed helped with the pain. i didn't want to cry and look like a wuss, but i was fighting back tears big time. i figured it was broken when the whole top of my foot turned purple...my bf took x-rays to confirm.
the first time was in high school i ran to answer the phone and i smashed my whole foot into our wood coffee table...solid wood. it was my pinky toe...hurt sooo bad, i couldn't walk right for a week. my stepdad was an ER nurse at a hospital so he insisted that they wouldn't do anything for it, so i didn't go to the hospital then either.
lol my family is all about tough love i guess.

i'd say out of all, the cracked tailbones were the worst.
first time when i was first learning to snowboard and i kept falling on ice patches while going toeside so i fell over and over onto my ass.. by the end of the night i could barely sit or stand or anything.. sucked ass
then about 5 months later while trying to frontside a rail, i came at it wrong and just as i got onto the rail i flew up in the air and landed right on the tailbone... i layed there and then worked on getting home, where again, i couldnt sit or stand for ... still hurts if you bump it right :wtf: |

| Never broken a bone, but I got hit by a huge rock/dry mud straight in the face, well on my right eye/eyebrow. So I gotta a nice scar and deep cut in my bone, where my eyebrow is. |

ohhh ohhh, I can't imagin not being able to sit or stand atall, it musta been such a hard time for you lol >.<
thank god i can sit and stand easy is just walking that I can;t unless use these sticks that they gave me, I wonder how im gonna have a bath or shower like this....
I really hope it won't be in plaster for more than like a week or ill go really mad!!! :mad: |
